This delicate Starfish is 925 Sterling silver with Rhodium plating for added tarnish resistance. The necklace is 16 inches long plus a 2-inch extender chain. Layer with a pearl our Sterling Pearl Necklace or a string of pearls; either way this little starfish is the perfect summer piece.
Caring for your sterling jewelry: If you somehow get oil on it, you can use a mild detergent and wipe with a dry cloth. Silver and brass based items will oxidize over time especially if continuously exposed to humidity/moisture. To maintain it’s beautiful sheen and sparkle, use a silver cloth; test wipe one small area first. Then wipe the entire piece gently to restore its luster. For best results and long-term maintenance, keep items in a jewelry box; for silver it is preferable it have a soft felt like lining. This will help prevent ongoing exposure to moisture and oxygen that can accelerate oxidation.
